You’ll have a tough time choosing between Cornish ice cream and fish and chips when you touch down at Padstow View Campsite in Cornwall. Join a peaceful farm site with estuary views… and use it as your gateway to sandy beaches, harbour towns and the Cornish countryside. Within a few minutes’ drive of Padstow and 20 minutes from Newquay, this friendly site welcomes dogs and families.

Facilities
The showers on site will help rinse away any sand picked up ticking off a list of the seven bays within 10 minutes’ drive (including Trevone Bay, Constantine Bay, Porthcothan Bay, Treyarnon Bay, Booby’s Bay, Mother Ivy’s Bay and Harlyn Bay); there are toilets and a washing-up area on site for guests’ use as well. Although there’s no wifi on site, most people can pick up a good 4G signal, and phone charging lockers are available.
Trips Out
Alternatively, while away your day hiking or cycling around the country trails and coastal paths. You could visit Padstow, where boats are on hand for angling or beach hopping and Rick Stein’s famous seafood recipes can be sampled at several restaurants.
Good day out at sea? Bring your catch back to the site, where barbecues are allowed. And if you’re still hungry from all the day’s activities, there’s a shop within a five-minute drive. Handily, there are also several pubs and restaurants (including a dog-friendly pick) within a five-minute drive.
